The ride of the Ultra with factory air shocks is quite a bit better than the Custom with Progressive shocks. A couple of weeks ago I bought a pair of 13" Ohlins HD 159 shocks.The big reason not to get Ohlins is because of lack of parts. Like try to find the air spring piston seal (which is a part that needs to be replaced at least once a year if you want to maintain smooth operation) online. Its impossible.
