Rear Axle Identification - 1980 F100. Looks like a 2.75 to 1 ratio gear in it. I don't know about the rest. If it is smooth on the back of the housing, with no bolts, it's probably a 9 inch ford rear. Also being an f100, you might have a different lug pattern on your wheels than the more common 5 on 5.5.
