I have a friend who was 4cm dilated for a whole MONTH, still went past her due date, still had to be induced, and never fully dilated and ended up needing a c-section. Not that it might happen to you (not trying to scare you) but hopefully it will put your mind at ease that labor isn't necessarily right ....
